I don't know if this is a connection, but in our Kiger line of Indiana George Harmon Kiger, son of Jacob N. Kiger and Mary Ann Wakeman, was born 18 April 1848 in Warren Co., Ohio according to the Jacob N. Kiger Bible records. He married Sarah Ann Marsee on 18 Oct. 1872 in Texas Co., Missouri. According to the History of Benton and Warren Counties, p.206 referring to Warren County, Pine Township, it states that the couple had four children - Robert M., Jacob N., Charles W., and Josiah. George and Sarah returned to their home area (Warren and Benton Counties are neighbor counties with the Kiger family living, marrying and dying in both counties) in 1881.
