Your unknown Smith who was married to Lewis Kiger, b. 1807, was probably Isabelle Smith. Lewis father was probably Christian Geiger. There is a lot of info on Christian Geiger on the Genealogy pages. I haven't actually tacked them together myself. Christian's father was also named Christian Geiger and there is a Willhem (William on one family tree) who may be Lewis Kiger's g-grandfather. Like I said, I would have to look that all up again. A lot of information is on the Joseph Francis Marion Kiger side of the family. Mary Elizabeth Kiger, daughter of James Kiger and Ellen Nickerson, was my great-grandmother. It is difficult proving the ancestors of her direct line, but it is almost impossible to prove her husband's, William (S.?) Evans. They married about 1869 in WV and moved to Missouri. After G-grandfather died, Mary Elizabeth married a Jim (maybe James) Hollandseed/Hollinseed/Hollinsead. Their children were John Wesley Evans and Martha Evans, who married before John Wesley was an adult. I can't find a list of siblings, so I don't know if Granddad John Wesley had other brothers and sisters. One of the Christian Geigers was born in 1690 in Germany. I think his son was also Christian, and his grandson was Willhem (William) Geiger. Elizabeth Notify Administrator about this message?
