Aloha Kiesels:
This census was taken in Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania, not far from your Ohio. Some of these, possibly immigrated to Ohio.
This is My Family: John Balthasar Kiesel came to America from Germany, and married a barbara (? maiden name?) Tintelnot Kiesel. You see by this census record, that she has her two Tintelnot Children, (who are noted as step children) from her previous marriage to Friedrich Tintelnot.
This is the 1880 Census Record of Pennslyvania.Looks like John Kiesel had a previous wife, his second marriage to Barbara Unknown Tintelnot Kiesel, and this being her second marriage to John Balthasar Kiesel.
