Hi Laura ,
I also had ancestors with a pub in that area of Dublin or so I'm told. I never knew the exact location and the only description was that the owner, was my grandfather's uncle, had no 'Mac'to his name . This was in the 1870s ,1880 or 1890s. Sackville St. became O'Connell St. in about 1884.please get in touch. Direct if possible.
