Application for Marriage License
State of Oklahoma, Roger Mills County
I, Z. D. Kierce, the undersigned, hereby apply for a Marriage License to be issued to Mr. Z. D. Kierce, aged 40 years, whose residence is Elk City, State of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Jewel Harper, aged 29 years, whose residence is Mangum, State of Oklahoma, and for the purpose of procuring the same, do solemnly swear that I have personal knowledge of the facts herein stated; that the names, ages and places of residence of said parties are truly and correctly set out above; that neither of said parties are disqualified or incapable under the law of entering into the marriage relation, nor are they related to each other within the degree prohibited by law. That I am 40 years of age, and resided at Elk City, County of Berkham, State of Oklahoma.

To any Person Authorized to Perform and Solemnize the Marriage Ceremony, Greeting:
You are hereby authorized to join in marriage Mr. Z. D. Kierce of Elk City, County of Beckham, State of Oklahoma, aged 40 years, and Mrs. Jewel Harper, of Mangum, County of Greer, State of Oklahoma, aged 29 years.
And of this License you will make due return to my office within thirty days from this date.
Witness my hand and official seal at Cheyenne, in said County, the 22nd day of April, 1916.

I, J. W. MIller, County Judge of Cheyenne in Roger Mills County, State of Oklahoma, do hereby certify that I joined in marriage the persons named in and authorized by this License to be married on the 22nd day of April, 1916 at Cheyenne in Roger Mills County, State of Oklahoma, in the presence of Mrs. Ida Poindexter of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Mr. W. J. Fisher of Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
