Referring back to my Posted Message on August 31st in 2002 at 20:27:54
Hello again Debby:
I, Shirley, was "unable" to finish that Posted Message, before I was through writing it.
I have read in another Posted Message that our 1st Ancestor Andrew Kier, the "Father" of David, Jane (Jean), William, Thomas and James "may have" orginated/come from Scotland, but I have yet found this to be true.
Possibly meeting his Wife "Mary" there, marrying her there. All of their Children were born there.
I am trying to find out all the information that I can on finding out "how" our Kier Family started, even as to what "Port in Ireland" that they sailed from, what Ship (with its Manifest) that they sailed on in order to come to America and what "Port of Entry" that they landed on here in American and then settled in (I believe) Saltsburg, Pennsylvannia.
Andrew and Mary were both members of the Ebeneezer Presbyterian Church of Saltsburg, Pa. My Genealogy Book tells me this fact.
