Refering to your Posted Message on February the 20th of 2000 at 13:59:31 Hello Debby: I am the 6th Generation of Andrew and Mary Mathis KIER Family. My name is Shirley Helen Bolter-Baker. My Mother, Rosamond (Rose) Alberta KIER-Bolter is the 5th Generation of Andrew and Mary. Andrew and Mary Mathis Kier came to Pennsylvannia from the County of Antrim in Northern Ireland with their 5 Children back in the year of 1785 They were Andrew Kier (2), Jane (Jean) Kier (2), William Kier (2), Thomas Kier (2), and James Kier (2). I have a 455 Page Genealogy Book on them called "Andrew Kier Family History 1785 -- 1978, which I am "Quite Proud" of for many reasons. Now for the contradiction that you have come across. Jane (Jean) Kier (2) was the "only" Daughter of Andrew and Mary. She was their 2nd Child. She was born in 1768 in Northern Ireland, and the date of her death is "unknown" per my Book. She was married to James Moore. Their marriage date is unlisted. His Birth date is "not" listed either, but he died in 1790. They had 1 Son. His name was James K. Moore (3), his Birth date is "not" listed in my Book, and he died in 1803. He married a Lady by the last name of "KEZIAH", no other information is given. A Tombstone in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery -- James K. Moore, Company "F", 1st Battalion in the Pennsylvannia Infantry near Saltsburg, Pa because Andrew and Mary settled in Saltsburg, Pa. You might check this Cemetery in or near there. Andrew, Mary and their 5 Children, and I believe all of their Wives and Husbands were born in Northern Ireland Notify Administrator about this message?
