The late Gordon Kier (died 1984), who researched the KIER FAMILY for many years before his death, thought Andrew Kier had come to America from Ballymoney in County Antrim, Ireland. He also felt that earlier generations of the KIER FAMILY may have lived in the area of Stirling, Scotland.
