What I have Is prior to 1814 but the area in which I have them in Greenbrier co. still exists as greenbrier today. You don't have any land ref. or deeds for where in Nicholas co. they were do you? I have the last date in greenbrier as march 1814 when they sold their land on roaring creek. In that same time frame I found them in the land tax records(1808-1814)for sinking mountain and then the name becomes sinking creek.Any suggestions or advice?I didn't find any ref. to when they sold the sinking creek property but my line from them moved from wva to ohio sometime around then. So far I have it in a time frame of 1814-1818 when they moved and thought possibly Augustaine and Catherine moved at the same time. What do you think?
