Hi Carol,

My name is Nancy Lorenz & my grandmother's maiden name was Anna Katherine Kienlen. She was born in St. Peter, MN in 1883. Her father was Eugene Kienlen and her mother's name was Philomena Meyer. Don't know if he was the one you mentioned that went to Oregon or not. My grandmother lived in MN until the 1940's I think. She had two brothers, Frank (he & had three children, Leona, Emma & Stanley who may have been born in MN & then he moved to Washington) and Joseph (he died in 1909). Family story goes that Eugene upped & left Philomena & the three kids & ran away with a younger woman. Haven't had any success finding any information on Eugene or his family. Please let me know if you know anything about this Kienlen family. Thanks!
