Nicholas Kieffer/Kiefer was born in Aug 1839 in either Prussia or the Ashford/Lomira area of Wi. He was the son of Anton Kiefer and Eva (Berg) Kiefer. He may have spent some time in Saskatchewan Canada as a homesteader in the early 1900's. His name appears on a small land grant beside his brother John who immigrated to Canada from Lomira. Any information on Nicholas or Nick would be appreciated.
