Following a Kiefer/Kieffer family from (Urloffen?), Offenburg, Baden, Germany that arrives in St. Louis, MO in the 1840s.

Church records in St. Louis name parents as Cresentian KIEFFER and Rosina ROTTI. Cresentian may be related to Maria Anna KIEFFER (b. circa 1790s) and Salomea KIEFFER (also circa 1790s) both found in marriage records in Urloffen.

Known children of Cresentian KIEFFER include:

Joseph b. circa 1815, marries Helena STEGER/STECKLE circa 1836 and travels to US with wife and children in 1848.

Barbara b. 16 May 1819, marries 1846 St. Louis, Bernard LANGENECEKERT - no children.

Theresa b. circa 1827, travels to US in 1848, marries
1) Johan HOLLOCHER 1848 St. Louis
2) Joseph KRON 1854 St. Louis

Caroline b. circa 1831, travels to US in 1848, marries Adam SIEGMUND 1851 St. Louis

Catherine b. circa 1833, travels to US in 1848, marries Paul HAIN 1857 St. Louis.
