Boards: Kiefer / Kieffer / Keufer / Ruefer
Recently I read an old post from a “Crystal” in regard to the Kiefer Family. In my data base for my family Altmann / Aultman / Altman I show that, as in many families, there are variations in the spelling of the name. I have Kiefer, Kieffer, Keufer, and Ruefer. At one point the Kiefer’s married into the Altman family. I have a Gertrude, Joseph, Katherine - 1809, Magdalena - abt 1650, and a Peter of 1767. I would like to add more data on the Kiefer family and their related families that tie to the Altman’s. Thank you very much & God Bless.
