Luther Kidder's estate from 1854

Several people from the Luther Kidder (1786-1854) line may be interested to know about Luther's estate account in Bracken Co., KY in 1854. Here is the info. It is a little lengthy but very interesting to see who bought what:

Order Book E., p. 339 for the November Term 1854:

At a court began and held for Bracken County, at the court house in Brooksville on Monday the 27th day of November 1854. Present Hon. Joseph Doniphan P. Judge.

It is ordered that George Hamilton be appointed administrator of Luther Kidder Sr. decd. who took the oath required by law and entered into and executed bond to the Commonwealth of Kentucky with Thornton Hamilton as his security, conditioned according to law.
On the motion of George Hamilton adm. of Luther Kidder Sr. decd it is ordered that Thomas Mullen Esq., Wm. B. Crupper and Charles Dougherty be appointed commissioners to appraise the personal property and slaves if any of said deceased, who being sworn shall make due return of their proceedings to this court.

We the undersigned being appointed by the Bracken Count Court to appraise the property of Luther Kidder Senior decd after having been sworn proceeded to appraise said property according to order of said Court all of which we respectfully report to the Bracken County Court State of Kentucky.
Given under our hands this first day of December 1854.

One note that was appraised on Luther Kidder Jr for $7.00 which could not be made by law.

       I do certify that the foregoing is a complete list and account of sales of the personal estate of Luther Kidder Sen which came to my hands as adm Dec. 9th 1854.

       I John Scoolfield Comr appointed by the County Court for the County afforesaid do certify that I have examined stated and settled the accounts with George Hamilton Admr of Luther Kidder Decd and find in his hands for distribution the sum of $35.47. Given under my hand this 14th day of October 1856

       The foregoing settlement was produced in open Court at the October Term 1856 and ordered to lie over for exceptions but no exceptions having been filed the same was examined and approved by the Court and ordered to be recorded.
