My grandmother was a Kicklighter and I have met a couple researches doing work on this surname from Georgia. I did not find Thomas from the above mentioned date but I can check into it to see what I can find. I started with Andrew Kicklighter from 1777 who was from Holland. He supposedly made port in Charleston, SC. I will have to find more info on him too. There was another Kicklighter on the same ship but we cannot connect them as being kin, but it very likely they were. A lady in Baxley Ga, has done extensive research on this surname also.
