Kibodeaux from Crowley.

My name is Frank Kotlarz.

My Mother was a Kibodeaux from Crowley. Here is the information I have on her and what I can remember about others.

My Mother was born in Crowley to Pierre and Anna Kibodeaux. Her name was Thelma Rita Kibodeaux. She was born January 1927 in Crowly. The Family moved to Beaumont in 1942. She married a man in Beaumont, who was in the Navy from Omaha, Neb. She traveled with him during his Navy career and settled in Beaumont, Texas in 1959. My Uncles were Oren and Roland. My Aunts were Ruby Husband Ed Thomas) and Mabel 9 Husband Harry Bridges). Mom had three Aunts that I can remember. Ida, Gladys, and Elite. Elite was married to William Trahan and he worked for Gulf States in Beaumont. I also think that Gladys and Ida lived either in Crowley or near Sulfur. I think she had an Uncle named Joe from Louisiana. He used to visit us in Beaumont. He limped. I think it was because of a club foot or something. I have a second cousin here in Baytown that I met at Aunt Ruby's funeral. I cannot remember her name. She was the Daughter of either Gladys or Ida. That was in the 60's. When I saw the name Ida Kibodeaux, I thought I would answer on the hope that maybe we are related as I know of no one now that all of the Aunts and Uncles have passed away.
