From the Tomah Journal --1876
KIBBE-In this village February 1st, 1876 of indigestion of the stomach Elizabeth wife of T.N. Kibble of the firm of Kibbe,Vincent& Co. age 54 years.
Elizabeth came with her husband from Herkimer County,N.Y.to this Tomah for a permanent residence in 1874.with the expectation of spending his declining years with her children and other relatives. She suffered from extreme deafness, her new acquaintances were not numerous. Those who knew her place a high estimate upon her social and moral qualites. Her death has filled a happy home with deepest sadness. An affectionate companion, a loving doting mother and a constant friend, thus fades from sight.(note a small verse followed) Not related , Ann
