Everything I have received regarding Cessier has been from Joy Skipper . You know -email her please . May I also suggest another source and that is James R. Cazier (sound familiar ?)he can be reached at R. Cazier) his research on the immigration of the family from NY south covers only a portion of the family as Phillippe had 8 sons .
In Re : Chief Cashie , I'll let you do your own work -On AOL the internet has web site called the History of Bertie County . The myth of Chief Cashie is discussed there . Of course the State of NC could be lying and this could all be a huge conspiracy - contact the above sources and have at it for your documentation.
