I purchased the subject RPPC (Real Photo Postcard) (not postally used) bearing the likeness of a young woman, identified on the front:
"Mrs. Jennie Keyser"
and with the following note on the back:
"Apr. 10 1918
This is a picture of Mrs. Jennie Keyser
in her early years when sickness and
age had made their impress
upon her health
yours truly
F.M. Keyser"
A likely match for this individual is Jennie Keyser (maiden name unknown), born May 1859 in WV, married about 1878 to Francis M. Keyser, born Dec 1854 in KY. This couple is listed in the 1900 Census data for Huntington (resided at 947 Fourth Avenue), Cabell Co., WV. At the time of the 1900 enumeration, Jennie was the landlady of a boarding house.
