Wish I had some answers for you Richard.Unfortunately, I have never found the parents of MY Henry Keyser.I did find his wife, Elizabeth King Keyser's grave in Wentz Reformed Church Cemetery in Worcester Twp., Montgomery Co. Pa. She died in 1831 and left Henry with 6 young children under age 10. I know the names of two of them, my ancestor Aaron and his brother Jesse. Aaron died in the Civil War.Jesse had a biography in a county history in Ohio and it mentioned that his father, Henry, served in the War of 1812. There were lots of Keysers in Montgomery Co. I have not been able to connect mine to any of them.I have researched the will abstracts of Montgomery Co. and my Henry does not get mentioned anywhere. I don't have my records handy, but I think he was on the 1820 census for Worcester Twp., Montgomery Co. Another problem, of course, is that there are so many ways to spell Keyser! Another interesting cooincidence is that there was a Henry Keyser who was about the same age mine was and he married a Catherine Schlonaker and moved to Jersey Shore, Lycoming Co., Pa.He also had a son named Aaron about the same age as mine--he also served in the War of 1812-but he is not my guy. I got his wife's pension application-they had lots of children too-I have all their names on archived files-since they weren't mine, I kind of lost interst.Good luck with your search.
