Ty:
The last time I wrote you was in May, when you had sent my query on to another (about William Edward Keyser, possible son of Peter A. Keyser -1842).I have heard nothing since May, and was wondering if this is just a lost cause. Is there any possibility of proving my William Edward's true ancestry at this point?I am quite frustrrated at this point.
You also said you had updated material for the Keyser book which you were scanning in May.Is that now available, and how can I get it?There seem to be a great deal of Keyser researchers, but I am finding it difficult finding somethingthat should be relatively easy.
I guess my biggest concern at this time is finding my WIlliam Edward Keyser as an 8-year old in the census of 1850.He was somewhere near north or northeast Philadelphia, according to family "legend".But I can't find the family he is with.Is the 1850 census set up at this point in time to find a child?
I would appreciate some help from anyone in my quest. Thanks.
