My father, also a Richard Keys, worked with Richard Vern Keys at Vega Aircraft (now Lockheed)in Burbank, CA in the early 1940s. Richard V loved having people call and ask for "Dick Keys" and have to ask which one. The answer was always the one with the moustache. So he made my father grow a moustache; great sense of humor! They always tried to figure out a connection because our family also had roots in Illinois but couldn't find one. We are descended from Andrew Keys b 1770 in Fermanagh, Ireland. Dad (89 now) would love to hear stories, as he mentions him often.
