Rose, this is the information I have on Tabitha Keys, daughter of Joshua and Mary Ann Bailey Flynt.
Tabitha was born in 1834 in Williamsburg, Covington Co. MS. She married Patrick Duckworth Speed, had children including my 2nd great grandmother, Martha Jane Speed, Rufus Patrick Speed and Keziah whom I think married a William Young.
Patrick and Tabitha divorced and each remarried. He, to Leatha Pitman, the wife of a fellow soldier with whom he served in the War Between the States, and Tabitha married a John N/M Johnson on 22 July 1869. Tabitha died 15 Dec 1929 in Taylorville, MS. They had a son, William Carter Johnson, b. 1 Apr 1870 in Hot Coffee, Covington Co. MS and died 29 Mar 1943 in Gulf Port, MS. ,
Part of the above info came from descendants of John Johnson.
This is all of the info I have on this family, except for the fact that someplace I have the address for present day kin of this Johnson line.
