Dear Audrey.
Very sorry I have not read these postings for months. Anne was the daughter of Stephen Keys/Mary Paine. Both of these people were born about 1795 in Buckinghamshire England. Strphen died in ca 1843 and Mary ca 1853. They were married 31 Aug 1818 in Waddeston. There were 8 children, 6 born in England. They came to Columbus in 1833. Richard b.1819, Jabez 1821, John 1823, William 1826, Sarah 1829, Ann 15Apr 1832, Mary 1836 and Elizabeth 1839. Ann married Ira Sanford in 1850. The 1860 census shows them with 4 children. (Sarah married ISAAC Sanford in about 1853). Several Keys and Sanfords are buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery I believe on N. High St in Columbus.
I have a little more info on these people but will have to dig. Incidentally, John Keys is my gggrandfather.
