Hi Anna, I may have solved the R.B.F. Key mystery. Robert Benjamin Franklin Key, b. Jun 14, 1848 in Butts, Georgia, father was Abraham Arnold Key, b. Sep. 6, 1825 in Jasper, GA. married Margaret D. Smith Feb. 13, 1845 in Jasper, GA. Margaret's father was Samuel Smith, b. May 1793 in Union District, SC and mother was Mary Davidson, maybe Mary is John Rs daughter.
Go to RootWeb.com type in Margaret D. Smith and you will received what I just told you.
I am still trying to tie in my Davidson family with John RS. Davidson. My ggggrandfather was Thomas Davidson, b. abt. 1790 in SC and moved to Jasper Co, Georgia and married Nancy Kitchens in 1815. I hope this helps.
