I am searching for any information on brothers born in NC that moved to TN in McMinn and Monroe counties during the years 1828 - forward. John Keys resided in Monroe County, Married Catherine Shirk in 1838. Brother James resided in McMinn County and Married Mary Ann Denton in 1841. Census records indicate the brothers were born in North Carolina and their father was born in Virgina. They also may have had brothers named Thomas and William, but I have not certified their connection for sure. I am willing to assist anyone for exchange of informaton as I have came to a dead end on my research. Many thanks for any tidbits of information you may have. I have more details too lengthy to list here, but will share if anyone has common links.
