Hello fellow Keyes researchers,
My father wrote "The Coming Together of the Keyes and Gage Families", published by Gateway Press, in 1986. He passed away last year and among his possessions we found several boxes of his book.
We would like to offer them for sale to anyone who might benefit from his many years of meticulous,(no-computer!) research.
The Keyes portion of the book begins with ROBERT AND SARAH KEYES 1630-1647, in Watertown,MA., follows the line down to SOLOMON KEYES, MOSES KEYES AND MOSES KEYES JR., to DANIEL KEYES, ABEL KEYES, JOSEPH KEYES, to his daughter BERNICE KEYES, and ends with my grandmother NATHALIE KEYES GAGE.
The social, political and economic circumstances of the Keyes family in England are covered but there is little English research. The bulk of the research has to do with this branch of the Keyes family in America - a restless bunch who moved with each generation- from Massachusetts, to New Hampshire, to Vermont, to the wilds of 1830's Wisconsin.Included are photos of the later generations, maps and illustrations.
We offer this book at the price of $20, mostly to cover cost of storage and postage.
