Hi, I am trying to understand the The "Key Family" that started in 1515 England, and traces forward to the "Key" family in Early Virginia. I have chosen to to change some of the dates. If there was a marriage date given. I usually estimated the birth date for the Male at least 21 to 25 years from the marriage date. If it was a Female I estamated the birthdate 20 years from the the Wedding date is given. I realize that men and Women did sometimes marry before the age of 21, and Women before the age of 20. I also tried to figure in when a male bought his first land usually at the age of 21. Also, that is when a minor, came into property if parents died prior to that age. So, that is another way to figure the estimated age. Anyway, I am hoping by posting my ideas, someone will have the answer that I don't. . .So, here I go. . .please feel free to correct wrong assumption. Thank you. 1st Generation: *William Key Born: Notify Administrator about this message?
