Other Kevill's who emigrated to the USA were John & Annie Kevill from Bolton, Lancashire, UK and John is one of my ancestors. They emigrated in 1891 with their four eldest children and another five were born in West Pittston. He worked in and around the hard coal mines in West Pittston, Pennsylvania.
The names of their children were - Gertrude, Harry, John Watson, Margaretta, Norman Anthony, Edward, Roger, Alice & George. I believe there were, perhaps, other children!
John & Annie are both buried in the West Pittston cemetery. John's grandfather was Henry Kevill from Co. Leitrim who was married to a Hannah ?? and their children were Jane, John, Thomas, Peter (my g. grandfather) & Henry all born in Ireland. Hannah left Ireland with the children during the famine and came to Lancashire where most of them worked in the cotton mills.
