Hi Folks:
What a coincidence. Somehow we are related, since there are so few Kevans around. I only recently began researching my grandmothers side of my fathers family, the Pedersons. Jessie was my grandmother married to my grandfather Fred Pederson. I can fill you in on much information regarding her and I also have a picture of her parents Andrew and Jessie (Not Sure about this name) They had the following Children:

Andrew and Jessie, the parents, died in the early part of the 20th century in Missouri.

1.) LuLu Kevan married Paul Miller, with kids, Victor & Truman
2.) Lizzie Kevan married Ike Welsh, with kids, Robert, Bertie, Grace, and Luella
3.) Jessie Kevan married Fred Pederson, with kids, Pearl, Leighton, Grant, Howard, Alta, Grace, Mae and Harold.
4.) Joe Kevan married Anna, No kids
5.) Ray Kevan married Minnie, with kids, Hazel & Myrtle
6.) Will Kevan married Ellen, with kids, Bert & Gladys
7.) Hal Kevan, married Anna, with kids, Harold, Edith, Elizabeth and 1more unknown.
8.) Georgia, married Bob Linfor, with kids, Will, Sadie, Joe, Viola & Bob

The 8th child is not verified. I found it on the internet. Some folks believe it was a James, but I do not know.

These folks lived in Iowa western side near Omaha in towns named Harlan and Walnut. I am currently doing research with the Danish Heritage museum on this.

I have many pictures of Jessie with her family etc.

I have pictures of the Pedersons, including the homestead in Denmark. If you all have any to share let me know. I will scan many of mine and send what you like.

I thought I was having a hard time, but it seems like I have more informaton than anyone.

Please write, and I will keep you posted as I find more.

How are you related to the Kevans and the Pedersons?

Sincerely
Michael W.Pederson
