In conclusion, "Catron" is the predominant spelling in America.
Most Ketron's live in Eastern Tennessee but have spread over the fruited plains.
Ketten is the plural of Ketter, hence the spelling "Kettering" Few of the early immigrants used Kettenring as a spelling though some still use that spelling today. A few use Ketring, Cattern, etc but regardless of how you spell the name we are all of one blood. Selah and shaloam.
