Cheryl, Searched high, low, and sideways and can't find Nathan prior to 1880. Found him in 1900, 1910 and 1920 but nothing prior to 1880. The census records all say he was born in Pennsylvania, as were both of his parents, but no sign of him anywhere in 1860 or 1870 when he would have been living with his parents. One of the census records (1900 I think) said that Nathan and Mary had 11 children and all were alive at the time. We can only account for nine, 3 on the 1880 and 6 more on the 1900. Are you aware that ALL Ketchams/Ketchums/Ketchems are cousins? They all go back to Edward in Ipswich Massachusetts in the middle 1600s. Here is a great Ketcham website http://www.ketchamfamily.org/default.htm Bill St. George Notify Administrator about this message?
