Please check out my Kesterson Kollections Website

The Will of John Kesterson is transcribed there on the "Wills" Page.

His 1st wife Elizabeth Whitman is still a ???.. We know his 1st wife was named Rebecca - but could find no marriage under that name. The only marriage we have found is to Elizabeth Whitman who might have been Eliz. Rebecca Whitman/Rebecca Elizabeth Whitman or this marrige might have been an entirely different couple. I don't think anyone has researched the Whitman family yet.

I believe that Hannah Ulred was the d/o Solomon Ulred.. If you again check my website under "Kesterson Descendants" you will find a long list of researchers working on the Ulred/Kesterson line. So be sure and contact all of them for further info on Ulred.

The wife of John Kesterson b 1712 (father of your John) has never been found found. We know about John through his will which only named 3 children - Wm. John and Nancy. His wife must have already died by the time he did. John and his wife both died young - leaving the 3 children in the charge of their uncle George Kesterson.

The father of Aquilla Fry has also been addressed and the jury is still out for some people. Some researchers believe her father was a "BEE". I can find nothing at all that documents this assumption at all - but there is a will of Wm FRY which leaves his land to Wm Kesterson s/o George Kesterson Sr. and he leaves his personal possession to George Sr. George Sr. is married to Aquilla and they did have a son named William so it makes a lot more sense to me that this would be her father. So thats what I'm going with. I haven't done anymore research on the Fry family.

The Welch name was found all over Northumberland Co VA -but I've done no research on it.

My website also has the Kesterson Kollections Newsletter linked to it. In the years past we have hashed over this line many times and its one of the most heavily researched. Just let me know if you have anymore questions..
