I'm a Battey. The two families are extraordinarily mixed together. Yes, Hulda's daughter, (by her husband John Battey), Betsey Southwick Battey marreid Stephen's son Arlington. I can confim nothing really as all my data is secondhand at this point. Betsey was born 16 Nov 1822 in Holland, Erie, NY and died 14 Nov 1851 in Clark Co., OH (all according to the Battey genealogy). I have a maariage date for them of 14 or 21 Mar 1847 in Hamburg, Erie, NY. The Battey genealogy gives no children but I have also seen this Cordelia born c1849 in OH. Arlington (spelled Arrington) was living in Pike Twp., Clark, OH in 1860 but I have only the citation not the actual record so don't know if Cordelia is still there.
Two more of Huldah's daughters also married Kesters. Amanda Melvina Battey married Benjamin Kester son of Arnold and Polly Kester Kester and Emma Huldah Battey married William S. Kester another son of Stephen and Sarah Laing Kester. There more intermarriages in the following generation!
