Kester Family Genealogy Forum

I recently rescued a couple of old pictures at an antique show. Both are marked from the Le Frogee studio in Decatur (Macon County, I assume), Illinois and look to be husband and wife. They have an 1890ish look and feel about them; however, twenty years either side is possible.
The first picture shows a 40 something male with thinning hair and a walrus mustache. The second pictures a female, a bit younger. The writing on the front says that he is "J.K. Kester, Ida's father"; the back says "Uncle J.K. Kester." It is just possible that his initials are I.K., but I lean toward J.K.
Her photograph is marked "Aunt Kit, Ida's mother"; on the back it says, "Aunt 'Kit' Kester, sister of Mary E. Anderson."
I hoped that knowing that they had a daughter named Ida and that Kit had a sister named Mary E. Anderson someone might be able to claim these ancestors.
