Danita,
I, too, have been trying for several years to identify Jemima "Mime" Kessel. My husband is the great-grandson of Thomas Franklin "Frank" Casto and his second wife, Virginia Belle Kessel Casto.
I know from family members that Jemima was Frank's first wife, but I haven't been able to find out anything about her. If anyone has information, please contact me.
