Hi Lisa,
I have a Sagar Kershaw who was the second husband of my great-grandmother, who was Catherine Bermingham, nee Barratt.
I believe Sagar and Catherine were married somewhere in Lancashire in about 1884. Sagar later ran Kershaw Brothers Twine Merchants in Dean Street, Manchester.
Does this ring any bells and is the time frame possible? I thought there was another brother [or cousin] , Binns Kershaw who was involved in the cotton industry.
Grahame Sharples.
