Hi Katherine, I had intended to contact you after the Alabama trip but time gets by too fast. I got photos of all the graves in Sandy Chapel, also photos inside church. I am sure David and Elizabeth are buried there but markers have disappeared. I talked with a lady who attends the church; she remembers her mother said there used to be stone piles, like markers, in the area near the Kersh daughters' graves but those have gone. May have marked David and Elizabeth's graves. Their land was located just as you enter Centreville. I got the complete probate of David's estate and am trying to transcribe all of it now. Have posted the public sale of Martin's personal estate on the Bibb website. Will email you with other stuff direct. Did find first references to Sease name in Bibb county: Martin's mercantile store was Kersh (Kearse) & Sease. By the way, Sandy Chapel is having a 100th anniversary of the current church in October. I'm wondering about possibility of David's descendants eresting a memorial stone to David and Elizabeth? What do you think?
