Hi All,
I found some information and need help. Here's what I have;
J. C. TATE (no other info) m Frances CASEY, born KY; d/o James Blackwood CASEY & Lucy Amber MARSHALL.
James Blackwood CASEY s/o John CASEY & Sarah McGLASSON & grandson of Joseph CASEY of Maryland.
Lucy Amber MARSHALL d/o John MARSHALL (s/o Thomas MARSHALL & Frances KENNON)and wife, Lucy Amber McDowell MARSHALL (d/o Alexander Keith MARSHALL & Lucy Mc DOWELL, d/o Col. Samuel Mc DOWELL)

There is tons of information on Col. Samuel McDOWELL, but I'm interested in James Blackwood CASEY and his daughter, Frances TATE.
Does anyone know who J. C. TATE, husband of Frances CASEY is?
I have KERSEY/CASEY connections through my BLACKWOOD lines. I show Elizabeth BLACKWOOD (b abt 1770, ? --??) m Joseph KERSEY (1763, ? -- abt 1846, poss Campbell Co., KY) aka CASEY. Her brother, William BLACKWOOD m Elizabeth KERSEY (sister of Joseph) in 1796, Greene Co., TN.
I have never found any information on either Elizabeth BLACKWOOD KERSEY/CASEY or her brother, William BLACKWOOD.
Please excuse any errors, as I have not verified all of this information myself.
Does anyone have any information on these families?
