1901 England Census shows a Michael J. Kerr, born about 1866 in Ireland, living in the Civil Parish of St. Clement Danes in London. Street address isn’t very clear, but could be 21 Shaftsbury St. He is listed as a boarder with 17 other people. Occupation is “handyman”. No mention of a Margaret Mary. Searched all of England for Michael Kerr. There’s 4; the one above and one in Hebburn, Durham born about 1892, another in Everton, Lancahire born about 1879, and another in Carham, Northumberland born about 1871. Searched for Margaret Keappock, Mary Keappock and just Keappock. Nothing even close, anywhere in England. However, I did find Thomas Kerr and Mary Ann Kerr, husband and wife living in Southwark St., George The Martyr, London! Street address, is isn’t very clear, but looks like 34 Glaston Street. Thomas, age 85, from Glasgow. Occupation not clear, but could be something like “examiner of stoves”(?) Wife, Mary Anne Kerr, age 61 from Mere (Wilts). Also living there is Fraulein or Fraulain Harbert, a niece, age 24, born in Portsmouth and she’s married. Hope this helps. Notify Administrator about this message?
