I am seeking information about my great grandfather, Martin Kerr. He was born in 1858 and died in 1922. He married Ellen Duff Stewart in Irvine in 1887.
I have conflicting evidence that he was born in Irvine, Ayrshire and Johnstone, Renfrewshire.
Any help to solve this matter would be appreciated and also any information about Ellen, whose parents were Robert Stewart and Sarah Mooney (Munn) would also be appreciated
