Mysterious Kerr surname connection -- 1913 Glasgow, Scotland

Sorry, I cut and pasted the wrong posting.
What I intended to say was this:
On the scan that I have of the Parisian passenger manifest from October 31, 1913, it shows my great-grandfather George Buchanan (age 12) with his sister Margaret and his mother Bridget. This is definitely my ancestor. However, Scotland census records from 1901 show my great-grandfather as a baby, with lots of siblings. His mother, Bridget, is married to John Buchanan. There is no Margaret (who is about 15 at the date of sailing). And, the weird thing is that Margaret lists her surname is Kerr. I have no idea what happened to the rest of the family, or why Bridget is using the name Kerr. She makes sure to list my great-grandfather's name as Buchanan, as well as Margaret's last name as Buchanan. Also, she lists her family as John McGhee in Boston, Mass (where she's headed). There is also another name listed in Boston --Ashley Grange (possibly a friend?).
Do any of these names or places ring a bell with anyone? I'm stumped!
