Notes
a. The surname is also spelt CARR
b. Anne was still married, so Hugh must have been absent from home.
c. Other possible/probable children to Anne and Hugh were -
i. Rose b 1885 and with her Aunt, Ellen Harley, in Ardachrin during the 1901 census. She immigrated to NY 1907 on the SS Columbia to join sister Ellen (see Gartan Immigrants)
ii. Patrick b 1882, immigrated with Rose.
iii. John, details unknown but living at 429 W 24 St, New York in 1914.
d. Immigrating in 1914 with Daniel, above, was Mary Coll, who was joining cousin Helen Karr, 429 W 24 St, New York - the same address given by Daniel for his brother John. Mary was from Stramore and her parents were Teague Coll and Mary McGlynn. Could Helen Karr be Ellen Carr?
