Lewis Franklin Kerns (or Kearns) - Brick wall

I cannot get past a brick wall with this person. He would be my great grandfather, but what became of him is a mystery.

He was b.about 1860 in OH, lived most of his life in Lawrence Co, OH. I have a great deal of information about his life there.

In 1910, the census finds him living with his second wife, Carrie Wray Kerns (Kearns), and their children in Kanawha Co, WV at Big Brier Creek. However, I do not know what happened to him after 1910. His second wife has remarried by 1913 and is living in Gallia Co, OH by 1920 (according to the census), but that is all I have been able to find so far. No death record in Kanawha Co, WV, or Ohio, etc.

If anyone knows anything about this person, please let me know. Thanks!
