Can anyone say, authoritatively, where the
name Kernodle comes from and what it means?
I know Dutch and German and it doesn't look
like either one to me. I can't find any
Kernodles in modern Dutch or German telephone
What about variant spellings? Karnodle,
Kernoodle, Kernodel, Kernoedel?
If you think it is from Germany, what part
(I have a friend named Kernodle and I'm
trying to track this down for him.)
