I have several pension records for Kerlin men who fought during the War of 1812.

1. Benjamin Kerlin (Insane) enlisted in Kentucky Militia. Lived in Henry County Kentucky 1852 - 1855 and Paris, Monroe County, Missouri in 1871. He died March 2, 1879 in Monore County, Missouri.

2. David Kerlin enlisted in the Virginia Militia. Pension claimed by widow, Barbara (Hudson) Kerlin. David died in Shenandoah County, Virginia on January 10, 1862.

3. William Kerlin enlisted in Virginia Militia. Discharged at Camp Crossroads, Maryland and filed for pension from Wayne County, Indiana. Pension shows William lived in Wayne County Indiana from 1850 to 1871 and died about 1876.

These pension records were ordered from the National Archives in Washington D.C. I ordered them thinking they were related to my Kerlin family here in Georgia, but they are not. If any of these men are related to your family, please email me and I will send it to you for the same price that I paid for it ($37.00), plus shipping and handling.
