I have been researching my Kerchner surname for over 25 years. My ancestor is Johan "Adam" Kerchner, born circa 1704 probably in Germany, died 1768 in Berks Co PA, and who arrived in Pennsylvania in 1741. Adam had one known son named Frederick Kerchner, and several daughters, who were named in his will.
