Searching for the descendants of Friedrich (Fritz) Kercher. Born on 17 Aug 1812 in Hesse Darmstadt, Germany. Friedrich (Fritz) died in German Township, Vanderburgh Co., Indiana on 6 Jan 1897; he was 84.
Friedrich (Fritz) married Katharina (Kadarina) Kissel, daughter of Johann Kissel IV & Katharina Mohr. Born on 19 Mar 1814 in Hesse Darmstadt. Katharina (Kadarina) died on 9 Jul 1893; she was 79.
They had one child, Johann, who was born on 7 Jul 1841 in Biblis, Hesse Darmstadt, Germany. Johann died in German Township, Vanderburgh Co., Indiana on 3 Oct 1887; he was 46. Buried on 5 Oct 1887 in St. Joseph Cem, Evansville, Indiana.
On 26 May 1868 when Johann was 26, he married Elizabeth Koressel, daughter of Franz Koressel & Katharina Born, in Evansville, Indiana. Born on 8 Nov 1850 in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. Elizabeth died in German Township, Vanderburgh Co., Indiana on 16 Jan 1924; she was 73.
