Hi Susan,
The Kerby names from White County, TN are some of the same names that we have been looking for. However, we have a Quintella Kerby (female) born 1843 with a brother named Richard Kerby born 1848, another brother,John Savage Kerby born April 10 1845. All these were born in TN. We can find them in the TN White County, 1850 Census but can not find them anywhere after that. We believe they may have gone to
AK. Also, do you know of an Isaac Shelby Kerby born about 1820? We do not know where he fits into the picture but he married Mary born in AK and they are back in DeKalb County, TN near the White County, TN line in the 1860 census. Also, we have a Elliott Kerby(female) born about 1838 and she had a sister named Mandael McInturff. Do not know if they are half sisters or full sisters but Mandael McInturff father is suppose to be a David McInturff. All this information is from family tales and nothing has been verified. Any help is appreciated. Thanks you, Hillra Stone Qualls in White County, TN.
