These 3 brothers came to US from somewhere in West Prussia in mid 1880s to Buchanan County, MO. Herman went on to San Diago, CA where he ran a saloon. Louis (my ancestor)bought farmland in Easton, MO. Frederick moved across the river into KS and bought an orchard. I know their father's name was Peter Kerber. Their mother was brought over after Peter and the son that stayed in Prussia was killed in a flood. The only clue that I have to location is that they ran a hostel (hotel) near a dyke that kept out the Baltic sea which broke. Looking for other Kerber Kousins :)
